Playroom Sneak Peak and Update

Hey There! Well, I started the playroom project but it has temporarily been stalled until??? I think I have just been a little overwhelmed lately.  Jax is getting more rambunctious and Isabel is starting to sleep less during the days and needing more and more of me, which I love but it has definetly changed my days.  

We are also still trying to get our downstairs half bath finished , which really wont take much more, it just needs to be installed...

On another note, last weekend I went to Denver to help my sister move into her new place and it is GORGEOUS!  Sometimes I wish we lived in a community that had all of those amenities: club house, swimming pool, tennis courts, trails! Anywho... she is doing really good and the move went pretty fast.  I also got to spend some time with my adorable nephew who whooped my but in battleship.

Yesterday we went on a gorgeous drive up to glade park and hung out with some of our cousins and they made campfire peach cobbler! AMAZING! There were deer everywhere up there and I got a few pictures of a doe that walked right up to the campsite, I think she was waiting on come corn husks...

Anyways, I know these pics are already on instagram but what's a posting withought pics!

House Tour - Isabel's Room

Here are a few shots of baby girl's room.  It's still a work in progress.  I really want to paint the walls a light grey and add some board and batten (gotta love the 10 million projects at a time thing.)  Maybe someday all of these things will get done! =)

After we added the glider I just wasn't sure about the furniture placement but I like being able to look out the window when I rock her...I don't know what to do here? The room is TINY so my options are limited...

Ok, This is my Current office - soon to be playroom for the kiddos.  What I am hoping to accomplish is a striped back wall, new curtains, rug and light fixture soon.  Then a fun trip to Ikea for all of the furniture in the room.

Flashback Friday

Jackson's 2nd Birthday

I had so much fun planning Jackson's 2nd birthday party. I ordered a the little man mustache bash packet from BelvaJune on Etsy and went a little balloon crazy too but the party turned out pretty cute I think =)

I kind of dropped the ball on the cake, it was a last minute purchase at the grocery store but the bakery was so sweet and amped up the cake with our colors and a mustached man =)

Overall, it was a pretty awesome party I think.

House Tour - Jax's Room

Sorry the lighting is horrible.  I took these a while ago but there really hasn't been much change, we have just turned his bed to the side and put his train table up here, added a bean bag chair and we had to get rid of the lanterns because they bounced around too much when the fan was turned on

The surfboard was from his nursery we did a beach/surf theme and we had family and friends sign it when they came to visit.
