Kids Bathroom update

So the hubs and I were at Lowes today getting materials for our powder room reno when I saw this lil beauty:
The kiddos have one of those ball lighting fixtures in their bathroom and I just didn't know what I wanted to replace it with and this was perfect! So we got home and I went to work getting pics done and having Joe install it. Such a little change but I love it!

Much better!

Loving Josie Maran

Living in Colorado, my skin is incredibly dry and argon oil is about the best thing I have found to give me a ton of moisture without feeling overly greasy or making me break out like crazy - I have very temperamental sensitive skin.  Josie Maran has an awesome line of products that I am loving right now. =)

Reality TV

Ok, so I have been obsessed with reality TV for years, literally, since like, the beginning.  Remember Real World Season 1? Yeah, I was watching that.  I have watched almost every episode of Real Housewives, Keeping up with the Kardashians and the Jersey Shore.  It's embarrassing but I think it's kept me from having too much drama in my adult life, it's exhausting watching some of those episodes... They have taught me a few things though.

1. Try not to be petty.  It's so easy to get hung up on something someone said or did but is it really worth having some crazy fight that never ends? Get over it! Vent to your husband or boyfriend 1 time (don't let them have an opinion, they are just there to be the ears you need) and then DROP IT - seriously just erase it or it will drive you CRAZY.

2. Don't drink too much.  It's just never a good idea.

3. Don't be two-faced.  It will always come back to bite you.

4. BE NICE. Sometimes it's hard but just think positively and it's crazy how the people around you will gradually start getting more positive. Sometimes there will be a person who just can't be nice about anything or to anyone, just ignore them, they are usually the pot stirrers anyway.

We are all flawed human beings.  The best we can do is just try to learn more, judge less and be kind!
